Since I can remember, I always dressed to impress whether it be a fashion show or a casual event with friends or family. Personally, I feel wardrobe should be a celebration, a holiday always. My talent is in the genes and was passed down to me from my grandmother to my Mother to me. My Mother always had amazing taste and flair for style. I was always proud to be with Mother. I learned from my Mother that if the colors are right the outfit will always be a win.

Graduating with a degree in Fashion Design from F.I.T. located on Fashion Avenue on the West side of Manhattan is an accomplishment of which I am most proud. My professors and mentors at F.I.T. advised us daily to "Dress to Impress for every Occassion. You only have one opportunity to make a good impression. Closed Doors open when you are dressed well. You want to be noticed. Be famous not infamous. You are unlikely to be given a second opportunity to make a good impression. You never know who you might see or who will see you and to always dress well. Never be caught on an off day. Never relax because thats when you will caught off guard. You are always being judged. Don't stand out for the wrong reasons. know your market. know your customer" These slogans are imbedded in my mind and in my life outlook. I heed their advice and base this book on their teachings.

The Fashion Industry is one of the most demanding and rewarding professions. It is exhaustive, detailed, electric, and creative. I am thankful to have been and to be a part of it in one of the most exciting city in the world.
